Whispers of Me

An archeological dig of
teeth-sharp feelings excavated
from a life long past
condensed to cuneiform
on cratered tablets chiseled
by an exacting hand
to an eye moist open mind
before thought interrupted
a process of living
where rivers, tear ducted, flow
to the point of being complete

Robert

PS: This totally belongs to Snow for HER wonderful words; "whisper of me".

I am merely a messenger.

Came back for a second sounding...and had to smile at your inspiration...she is something else, and winds tendrils of thought through her poetry.

Couldn't ask for better inspiration!

wow.

"..an eye moist open mind"

actually i think the entire
piece is damn good, but that
image just grabbed hold.
you certainly made the words
your very own and i'm thrilled
by that.
