Printed
The words seem little but stains
Crooked lines in rows arranged
To some meaning or intend
       Now accusing me
Now refusing me
                         The original feeling
Captured then

So I clean the drive
Erasing all that was stored in some
Cryptic binary horde of ego
After I have transferred all to white

Sheets..
   And sheets again

And I wonder…
How would they float on the wind
And would if someone paused to pick one up
Read the lines
                              Understand?

Or would fire be the better end
That with flickered heat of flame
Consume the very words
Erase them into ash
                               No more to begin?

It is vanity
To assume merit where there is none
Or ignorance of truth in denial
                  Yet…. Human we remain
And our faults find no cure in understand of why

So perhaps it is organic
  To decompose these words
One small worm at a time
Eating bits of prose
                                   Or edge of rhyme

For then at least when all is done

The flowers I cut and put in vase contain
Some essence of the you
                                           Written in each refrain

Don't you do it!!!

You keep every word and someday read and smile.

I know that is what I do from time to time with a certain binder.

I'll be looking for a floating paper in the air, floating down like a feather...I'd love that and I think I'd understand.

I learned the hard way to save your work IMMEDIATELY--knowing that you--um, like ME--have impulses to trash it all.

(somehow I know that doesn't reassure you)

but we can't assume to know the impact our words will have on others--

all I know is that there are days when you have summed things up for me and given me inspiration to just STAND still and be.

So don't question it, lovie.

Just let it be.

paper airplanes, and messages in bottles...might seem like nothing to US, but end up a miracle to others.

Hugs you.

and yes, miss you.

Well said.

There's a place I like to hide-open your mind to me-Visualise your dream- Record it in the present tense, I am smiling next to you, in silent lucidity
