The everlast of Chicago...
Where I'm going, I don't know
Mountains blooming from the trees
Birds are humming at the bumble bees
Take me on a ride that will forever last
Don't drown me, give me a blast from the past
Talk to me while I am asleep
Whispering softly the old man creeps
Up to the window I feel chills brewing

Peter Gammons Staring at her
Whistling tunes in a blur
Making tea while walking away from me
He's thinking of a way he can get away
He doesn't know which way to go
Follow me, We'll go to the everlast of Chicago

Bats are searching for the bad blood
Looking up falls down the gun
It is softly speaking words of wisdom
Hoping it will shed the continuing prism
Off to darkness she will sleep
And the prayer is lost, thrown into a heap
I will never forget the everlast of Chicago
