Ink of Fantasy

The words I write fill paper sail
To drive my ship harpoon a whale
To see into the mist of cloud
Beyond the vanity of proud

To bring to life an argosy
And grant a knight his fantasy
To reach a shoal a lifetime goal
To bring surcease an aching soul

I’ve wet my sail with colored ink
Drained my mind a whale of think
Collected me a vile of dew
The essence of a magic brew

And with this brew I tempt each morn
To send to me on beauties dawn
The spirit of a lover’s wend
To stay with me beyond an end

And in this stases we will stay
Forevermore and yet a day
