Some wounds never heal Some hurts go too deep Sometimes dreams congeal To curdle in your sleep Sometimes life is cruel Someone takes the fall But baby that's the rule And no-one has it all Some folk never learn Persisting in their dreams And some will crash and burn To end their life in screams Someday life will change And God will come again And fates will re-arrange To take away all pain When fate that day is sealed And life has dripped away Your wounds shall all be healed And you will learn to pray Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Yes, someday. And it is so, that when things become their worst, people remember what has been within them all along, the knowlege that there is more than mere mortality.  SusanHappiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
