I awoke today to the sound of rain only it didn't sound like the soothing trickle one is use too it was more like echoes, echoes of emptying tears Ever hear an empty tear before? the welling pain of nothing where someone once thought something existed, the endless fall of anticipated anguish, the thunder of reality as it rolls over you, through you, and then passes you by like most everything else Today, to the sound of empty rain, I awoke |

So sad, but well expressed. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
