June 25, 1999…I noted, for myself, a moment.
In finding Passions in Poetry, I found myself.
I realized I did, indeed, have a voice.

She feels like a poem
covered in pearls,
lost in a meadow
or ocean of furls.

Taken down into soft sand
by sun wind and sea,
glinted by moon light
protected by trees.

Whistled by gypsies
with dancing bare feet,
laughed into good humor
feeling so sweet.

Listen the poem
whose cadence is rich,
pull thread through her daydream
and take the first stitch.

It was in the year of Oct. 2001 that I found a voice I wanted to share. Words hidden from me that I did not know that one day they would surface and say hello to the world.
I would notice things with my eyes and wish I able to paint. Then I found this canvas of white then another the color of blue and now I paint with words the color of the rainbow.
Even as I write this...I'm thinking how can I change this into a poem.
I enjoy your poems Sunshine even though I do not say much. I do love to read you. You are soothing and a comfort with your soft gentle words with your smile that is filled with your name Sunshine.
