Velvet to my heart The way your spirit grazes past my conscious thought Firing off memories in roller coaster romp Catching on the wind that fleets my ribs Each breath a double take The lost and found of fragments Peeled and repealed, bound only in their magic Smoothing surfaces left roughed as cedar stud Somewhere within the rooms built on dreams Hallways that I often walk it seems Attentive to the soothe The whisper of your presence etched in groove That turns me at the shoulders just to hear Such pictures reverberated in my sighs Dumbfounded by a welcome prized The love we make Seems stilled at the crescendo mark A point of pinnacle in endless spark Where I look deep into your eyes and see the birth of stars Blazing with desire melting Venus into Mars Your very soul to hover its transcendence Balancing the edge of scream and mine the trampoline Free verse in sight unseen and carved somehow a timeless vow Contentment in my mind, to know that I am blind And every thought the honor of a love I always hoped to find Copyright Kkh 6/24/04 |

"The lost and found of fragments Peeled and repealed, bound only in their magic Smoothing surfaces left roughed as cedar stud Somewhere within the rooms built on dreams Hallways that I often walk it seems" Kathleen, I particularly liked these lines. The whole poem was great! ![]() |

This Diamond, Sometimes the silence expresses the most. I love this line: "The way your spirit grazes past my conscious thought" |

The love we make Seems stilled at the crescendo mark A point of pinnacle in endless spark Where I look deep into your eyes and see the birth of stars Blazing with desire melting Venus into Mars words which meld the mind and very essense of what life is all about Lovely |

Diamond, I enjoyed this very much. I love the images and your use. You opened the door to my thinking about the use of words in the same way as contrasting the use of color. The use of texture and shades which I will try to experiment with. Thank you so much for this. SG |

If but one might have the softest breathe, to flutter a lid delicately...Then and only then...might one have caught the prize of this...so very well written, crafted, a flowing story of love. |

Where I look deep into your eyes and see the birth of stars Blazing with desire melting Venus into Mars Love this. Love the whole poem, but especially this. ![]() Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
