Silent words form on need swollen lips.
Screaming for release
from this torment
of our own making.

I long to whisper
softly into your ear,
how your touch ignites me,
how the desire is not hidden behind
the façade you place before your eyes.

I long to touch the skin upon your face.
To groan with released anticipated pleasure
at the warmth of your fingers
tangling in my hair.

I long for you.

I hear your heart
before I feel it.

Yet I turn away.
Before words can form,
and fingers can feel too much.
Before illusion is lost.
Before you see
the whispered need
and feel guilt over me.

The cotton print remains.

Oh Susan, you can see both sides of the fence in this, the want and the guilt.
You have described this very effectively.
Super hugs to you!

Excellent Susan...
and I believe I know your inspiration for this sizzler.

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Susan,
Inspired.  Yes!  I'm glad I was able to read your words.  (Also, I understand silence can be piercing...)  I wish you better days ahead.
