Within the clearing in yonder forest,
On a clear and starlit nite,
Fairies, sprites, and elfin folk,
Would dance 'neath full moon bright.

It was a time for spinning magic,
For it was midsummer's eve,

The trees could talk,
The lakes would laugh,
And birds could buzz like bees.
The winds cried out
As mauve skies sighed,
Blue grass grew tall as trees.

The brooks would giggle,
The rocks would chirp,
And bunnies croaked like frogs.
Flowers would hum,
While deer did sing,
And gold grew in the bogs.
