That which goes, keeps going; That which flows, keeps flowing; That which sits, Well that it, it just sits. “If you push something hard enough it will fall over” Fudd’s first law of Opposition*1 As he walked along his merry way, He stopped to admire the day, Even if it was the dark of night So he made up the left of his mind That dark he could never find Because there was just too little light. His stopping had not slowed him Something that seldom happen And he continue to walk his walk. If everyone looked, would everyone see, Unusual Is now the Nightly reality, Has the poor pudgy one, Become undone? Do Pachyderms pack the sky, And if so, Does any really know why? Cart-wheeling Turns thoughts upside down And shakes Loose change upon the ground, Look it there A robbery is going down. He lingered too long With his bottom-side up, Gravity was strong, And coins rolled in a beggars cup. With the reality of the night almost to make When pushing comes the day to break And all is lost about which he would talk. Gloom *1 as put forth in “I think we are all Bozos on this Bus” FST |

Thought provoking, to say the least, as was your poem left at my post. To it i answered. But who can argue with Fudd? Good poetry always leaves one thinking. Yours always does that. |

Prof, Did that come to you on your way to Pooh Corner? Sweet! I expect nothing but wisdom from the professor and you deliver. Excellent. And it gave me much pleasure as well. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Gloom I think you must be mistaken about where you live, "Dark Shadows without Laughter", for I hear laughter as sure as upside down is right side up, and it came from this poem! Loved it! |

Is Martie on to something? I like it when you let your humor show. You can write anything with wit. Enjoyed another run-through. |

Okay Doc, this is it. Get ready for a big one: Why does the poridge bird lay his egg in the air? It comes in, it must go out. The lost electricity reclamation agency. The bureau of western mythology. and, of course, presiding over this automated model government, Doctor memory, The President ... |

This was excellent. I laughed a little. I was very impressed with your ability to tell a comprehensive story within the confines of a poem. Well done, my friend. This was a fun, thought-provoking piece. I thoroughly enjoyed every word of it. Kevin |
