I find I no longer need my dreams I wonder how long I can consider Another day Without love And live without A name I don’t pretend to care about Someone else’s fantasies Brush against Your lips You can blame it On the night With its velvet touch Whilst you were sleepwalking And you didn’t bother to wake up And should you pay attention Half remembered Faces without names Seem as important As part Of your morning routine While distant Dreams crumble into the sea Go, display your love like a peacocks tail Stand on the edge Of happiness Do it for your heart With your silk Underwear swirling around your feet While words I’ve written dance through My smoke clouded mind Bloody feathers could signal An end to the nightmare Pleasure and pain Distort my perceptions Next time Tell me it’s a dream Don’t step into my imagination |

Wake up now and step away from the dream. This is a well written piece. It leaves a bruise. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Oh, so powerfully written. Charged in the darker side of love. You're poem drips in emotion. It is so well-written. You are incredibly talented as a poet. I would hope to see more posts from you. Learn from your experiences, your life, your mistakes, your blessings. Write them down and share them with us. After reading this and seeing your innate talent, I am looking forward to digesting more of your work. This poem was beautiful, and beautifully sad. I was in awe. Your poetic friend, Kevin |

Earth Angel, Dream, nightmare, not much difference to life. 1slick_lady, Pretty much the same for all, some things bring everyone to the same level. Susan, Bruise's fade just as sure as you wake up and start walking again. Kevo, Thank you for that huge compliment, I am not that prolific in my writing, but occasionally something seen, heard, or involved with spurs the muse. passing shadows, Thank you for taking the time to read. May you all have a wonderful day. |

And should you pay attention Half remembered Faces without names Seem as important As part Of your morning routine While distant Dreams crumble into the sea I agree, Frank, you have much to offer in your poetry M |

Really well spoken poem, time prophet! I know the feeling of this and oh, does it hurt, and yes it seems unreal that something so close to being perfection can stand on a cliff and jump off. jo |

Dang, the pain of bitterness from a broken heart just oozes out of this write. Strong, indeed. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

nakdthoughts, I guess I am coming to realise that I can do it when the muse pushes hard enough. Thanks for the read M. iliana, Thank you for taking the time to read. I appreciate the comments. Larry C, Your comments are most gracious and appreciated. I plan to live forever, I live as I may die today. |
