The loss of a husband And his tender love A broken divorced heart Only strengthened her resolve Those babies would thrive - Every ounce of strength was given to them There were hungry days And lonely days And tired days And tears Two decades later, And two beautiful daughters With faith enough between them To change this world All I can say Is Lady |

Well-done both in writing and rearing your children. Happy "Father's" Day to you, too. You were both and should be celebrated as such. This was a touching read. Kevin |

I wrote this about a friend of mine, she has worked so hard for so long, and she has raised two amazing kids. She truly has held down the fort through many storms of life. Thank you both for your comments. I'm sure we all know several of these amazing ladies. |

I think I'll show this to my mother today. Today (June 21st) my father will be gone for two years and she's not having the greatest day, perhaps this will cheer her up a bit Thank you for sharing it with us. Brian Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer. |

it can't be easy; I'd admire those who chose this when nothing else positive can be done; great write! Sadelite |

I should really share this with the lady I wrote it about. People live such amazing lives, its such a priviledge to be able to record the beauty of pieces of their lives. Brian, may God give your mom a huge abundance of strength |
