A Boomer

A boomer is a blast of cloth
Sown within a lightening broth
I source of angry echoes roll
That chills the spine and drills the soul

It is a cry of rue of ache
That makes the heart to hide and quake
A bowling ball that breaks a strike
A strike that claws you psyches dyke

It often dives into the sea
Much to near to fearful me
I feel the vibrant of its crack
The movement of the air each whack

It covers me enwrapped in roars
In heinous sound and clap applause
A rage of wind that makes me bend
With thoughts that this may be my end

Some storms will make you check your bill
And some will make you think your will

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

M'dear T-Man, you are so strong, wise, adventurous and mighty in many of your write,
but the little boy in you comes out with this one.

I feel like wrappying you in a soft fleece blanket as I did when my daughters were little girls when they woke up crying from the thunder.

I would take them out to the back porch and we'd look at the magnificence, power and magic of the celestial fireworks. They soon were oooing and ahhhing at the wonder of it all as we all huddled up together witnessing the display divine.

I would then tuck them back in bed again and stayed with them until they fell asleep in their twin beds. They still remember those moments quite fondly ~ as do I.

Warm, snuggy hugs,
EA
