Dispute as you might of the gifts passed in post As a daughter will tell you of some more than most A life’s journey to challenge the construction of norm Skirt of pretty white cotton soaked transparent in storm In reflection of absences grown and mature Puddle jumping the tragedies sweet and demure In her heart set a seed adoration by mere That in dormant retained all this time we are here From her father the seed planted deep in her heart A creation of earnest condition impart Simply quiet until the first blossom of love In a spurt of a heartbeat measured everything of The comparison striking on a memory note From the gleam in his eye to words in his throat An invisible guardian from an angel for sure From up close or afar that reminder for her Think it fiction or fancy as you like or you will More divine in the giving yet on purpose and still For without that so simple just a twinkle indeed Then what would a daughter know to keep or to weed Copyright Kkh 6/19/04 |

I had to read this a couple of times. I love your talent with words. Much enjoyed. Susan The whole of the Universe resides within each individual heart. |

A very touching poem, indeed. A great tribute. You are so gifted in your words and your writing. rhyming is a gift you do very well without ever sounding like you forced the issue. It just flows and rolls right down the paper. Superb. A real keeper. Kevin |
