Pensive in my passing thoughts, Of times so long ago, Recalling days when we were young, With wild seeds to sow. Passions stirred the liquid fires, That coursed through supple veins. The days were of forever Spring, ~ The nights of summer rains. Tho' the years sped quickly by, Our love grew deeper still, We honored one another, And we always will. Pensive in my passing thoughts, Of times so long ago, Recalling days when we were young, With wild seeds to sow. |

Susan ~ This poem was inspired by two phone calls this evening. Both my parents and my boyfriend's parents are obviously still sooooo much in love after all their years of marriage ~ however, unlike in my poem, liquid fire still runs through their, albeit not as supple, veins! Warm hugs, Linda |
