I saw the snakes again were they tattoos or were they real and maybe I am the tattoo they can't shed with skin they were mating there entwined in writhe bathe they glistend with wet slippery slow wet not the rain kind the big one knew me the others were blind but they followed when my leg was a tree and they were birds pretending what fruit did they want I was wearing winter but they searched my openings and peeled my bark they undressed me to sand and left me under their ocean __________ Dark |

Some great lines in this DS...my favorites; "I was wearing winter" and "they undressed me to sand" "were they tattoos or were they real" Tattoos are real, are they not?  |

As always I stand in awe of your style and how you pour words into my eyes like silk. Your use of imagery in all of your poems is beyond compare. Melissa~ Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world! |
