haha, I thought I wasn't going to write today, then I thought I was going to write another short one, hahaha maybe I'll try again later for a shorty. I think one is brewing right now, but for now, this: The Fun of Setting the Buzz Yeah, there’s lots to do but it’s summer; the clock slows quite nicely, well, if I let it. The weeds are fast, fruit is ripening, and when night comes, it announces that another day has gone. But it’s summer and my resist is intact; I don’t let myself hurry or worry, at least for a time. Oh, yeah, time, the reason for setting the buzz. Giggle, so I can rejoice that all I need do is shut it off, smile and loll or measure my paces in waltz time. Along the path, through the woods, beside the stream where dreams write poems and butterflies tickle the air. ©June 17, 2004 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
