There are so many at Pip going through trials these days. We know about some of them--White Dove, Michael Auguste, Martie, Maureen. There are others who for reasons of their own don't wish to share their worries at this time.

I post this offering to any and all of you in need of some comforting words at this time.

While I was tiling my countertop, I thought about my friends here and how much I miss you all, and how much like a mosaic Pip is--thousands of pieces that fit together to form a beautiful whole.

There's so much love here...it's an amazing place.

But anyhoo, here it is:

I'd like to leave you with a gift,
I wish you find it waiting here.
I want to mend your heart bereft.
Cease your trembling, calm your fear.

You should know, you call on me.
Always always, I am yours...
I'll be your breeze,
eternal sea,
I'll hold each key, for all locked doors...
for every heartbeat evermore,
my heart beats thrice,
I'll love you more...
and everytime you wonder when,
I'll keep you close,
I'll be your friend...
and every time you back away,
I'll let you go,
and wish you stay...
every tear that you might cry,
I'll kiss away
till eyes run dry...
and if God's mercy
you might need,
then God will find me
on my knees...

You are the blue
that colors sky,
wistful in release
of sigh,
you are the green
that paints the leaves,
you are the you
that sings in me...
you are golden
in the sun,
and silver moon
as day is done...
twinkling starshine
down from sky
answer to
the question, why?

And know you,
when this day is through,
you're not alone---
I am with you.

It is truly heart wrenching to share in the sorrow of others on here, and I find it even worse than someone close by (does that make sense?)  It seems we get to know people better through their writing, and reading between the lines here than in real life doesn't it?  Well to me anyway.  I can only send my heartfelt wishes to each that in their own way, they find a peaceful walk through the forest of trouble they are in, and that they DO all know there is a huge family that cares here.

Karen ~ I know this hurts your "sore" spot as well, so this was a beautiful repost for us all who feel the pangs of pain inside, and that included me too.

I've been reading and praying about all the different trials people have been going through here in the blue pages. It's always sad to see that, but to know that they have wonderful poet friends like you helps...

This poem is amazing and heart-lifting.
I'm keeping it in my library.
Awesome job

Always, Alyssa

Lately I've felt that everyone I care about is hurting in one way or another, while I float above it with no agonies at all except for the pain of seeing theirs.

For all the people you mentioned and four others I know here --- thank you for this.

sweet and completely you. I worry about my friends here while I am gone. I haven't had much time for this place. As for me, I am glad that there are enough people on here to wonder about me when I'm gone. It is nice to be thought about once in a while. Lovely to see you, Ser. I miss you and this place.

You cannot know how much I needed to see this right now. I just found out my 7 year old granddaughter Savanna has to have a cat scan for a lump that is unexplained. I am so terrified. She is so very special. Please send her your good thoughts as well.
