alive
yes
barely dragging myself along
didn't slice to see the pulsing red
but who cares about the beat when there's no song,
just soap suds and cotton fuzz in my head
and not a drop to drink
or a dream’s linger to think
just a cloister dark to see
alive,
yes
barely.

One more night to make it through.  Hope the day comes soon. I love the way you bring the poem full circle.

Oh, Gloomy guy, now it's not all that bad, is it?  Hope not.  Here's a hug to pick you up -- *hug*.  Much enjoyed the flow of words, just sad.

You don't need to slice to see pulsing red...

I feel it in the words.
