Could You

My angel and me to sail the sea
Upon a ship of argosy
We’ll sip the tea of magic rhyme
And trip upon the sands of time

We’ll slow the hourglass of sand
And make our way to Samarkand
And there will find a wishing well
To toast the true of spirits dwell

For spirit is the ship of store
To whip the oceans evermore
To tweak the nose of changing time
And slow the act and slow the prime

And thus we’ll shake Illusions Sea
And right the wrong that some would be
And build a beach of ecstasy
Upon a reach of fantasy

Do you think you’d like to go?
It’d be all spring and none of snow.

.....There now, it is already saved in my Library as well as in my very special personal file!

You whipped up this delight with the speed of hurricane force winds! There is lots of wind left in your sails, Sir Sonneteer!

~ and yes! I'm on my way! And hopefully I could hear you recite your sonnets all the day!

And forever Spring sounds simply divine! It's my favourite season of the year!

Special angel hugs 'n kisses,
EA

Your words always flow so easily and beautifuly from the tongue.

Some poems were just meant to be
read aloud!

Me, don't need no bags, and I get sea-sick so don't need no lunch - Now that puts me two steps ahead of mangus so-o, save room for me.

Great write.
