Touring your soul Finding earth’s tentacles Fibers reaching precious heirlooms Swinging arms of a heart beating Warm summer tenderness Your mind views Many signs and omens Natural horizons Engulfing us, with lips of evening song Drinking us till done Like an enthusiastic brass rail Sharing camaraderie’s table Potent enough to blindfold Essence surrenders Colliding with a chivalrous thief Sorting future days serene Folding edges into passionate memories Rearranging crystals and years of distance Spreading my dreams upon your seas Yours upon mine, colors mingling A great palate of wine Where bright water lilies grow Containing us both Shaping heat and flame Kind meadows lighten our eyes Flashing ringlets of full moon smiles Gold, silver, mirth, kindly taps on our window motioning us to come hither Delivering to us an anonymous place Where we so eloquently vacation All inclusive, your face upon my breast I wear the sunbeam you gave me, round my neck Like diamonds sparkling on a sea, it becomes me Voids spent and clear, pulsing the face of purpose Divine love gazes upon my thoughts, curious Do you fear this power? Inspiration bends above you, from heaven All worth the waiting |
