The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2004-06-15 11:02 AM

My loneliness knows no degree
it haunts the better part of me
in darkness now, my soul does live
with almost nothing left to give.

This cloud of gray surrounds my heart
while every day it pulls apart
and though you had to say goodbye
with all my breath, I wonder why.

I call you now to bring me home
to love, to live inside my poem
it's in your hands, my artists muse
come here, there's nothing left to lose..

Where have you and your illustrious muse been hiding?!? Well, at least you are now both back and in fine form!

Nice to read you both again!

Such a melancholy write Sandra....
But oh so good to have you home.

Yes it was incredibly touching and beautiful.  Crafted with impassioned heart.  Well done.  You write incredibly well.  This is another great write.  Thank you for allowing me to read it.

This is an outstanding poem.  I'd like to keep in my library and send it to a read, may I?

catalinamoon, I am sure we all know this loneliness, you show it to us so vividly and well dear friend, one should never be lonely in ones own company, for when that happens so does sadness, I hope you find your muse and company of joy.
Loved the poem and felt the inner pain.

Sincerely
Rick
