I Hear You I listen to you even when you don’t think I hear and I think I am another just like you caught between this world and the next one just trying to find the place it is that I fit and the longing I know your words I knew them before I ever heard you say them you know the ones, the ones that are recited in the spaces between the thread count in the sheets of the echoing darkness of night yes, I hear you and you are heard and you are not alone, I am lonely too "be prepared to bleed" Joni Mitchell |
