Whimsical Weathering Ways – RF 2004 Where might one sit upon a roof so grand Such that a weathered vane might one day stand To point the ways of naughty, errant winds That circle the world, and come to shake limbs ![]() I thought about how big a roof might be To hold one wolf’s blow, though but fantasy, But the headless horseman’s horse that I spied Would certainly make the winds moan and cry So, though a price could have brought home the steed, I have no such roof to fit the mount’s need. |

Karilea, now that's a weather vane! Great write! Heard it's pretty windy up there today -- take care, I'll be thinking about you. ![]() |
