I slept on a bed of stars and woke on a grassy knoll blinking with constellations revelations come on puffed up pillows fade on the toss and turning moon nothing much sticks come and go clouds of troubadour clowns make faces above me peek a boo skies open with thunder's holler, close tight their curtains before my blink begins, ball one... strike 2 the shot heard round the world, for how long will they remember? everything is relevant nothing is relevant this is not your brain on drugs this is not a midlife crisis this is not too much bleach seeping beneath worn brown roots, this is simply a woman struggling to float above a world diluting. |

inkedgoddess, This one got to me. But,,,,you have a way of doing that in your writing. I don''t really know much of what to say, but I'm hoping the week goes better. Your last verse was especially incredible. Real. Sadelite |

You have a way of creating metaphors that intertwine the painful and the wonderous all at once! beautiful!
Don't ever stop 'struggling' that is the plight of the true artist. Keep painting what you see from within and without.

A world diluting is so true to the point! Great one. JL She said: ”You look cute in the dark.” |

thanks a bunch everyone; glad you came by from sunshine: I call these thoughts mind skips... from hither to yon like a dandelion puff of seed but with extremely deep roots... thanks; it does seem like this, so descriptive are your sunny words this morning ******************************************* from paulie: From one root, the leaves of words spread in infinity- so many heart stirrings in the Muse's ebb and flow. from the well of darkness into light of delivery yes, blessed are the words that spread across the blue ********************************************* |
