Take a Lesson from the Turtles

Feeling tense, pressured and stressed
too much baggage is my guess
got you down and feeling the blues
the mess has hit the fan blades
and what follows next you haven't a clue
you can't dodge all that's scattered
and what then does it matter
Life's a volley of challenges
hurdle after hurdle
take a lesson from the turtles
don't let life slip from your fingers
life's too short to rush through
make the time worthwhile and soon
pleasant memories will linger
what is it really that you're after
take time to rewrite the following chapter
and bear in mind the tale ends
with happily every after

Mmmm turtles, chewey caramel and nuts covered in chocolate -- ooops, sorry, wrong turtle. This was fun, and very wise, for turtles live a very long time and have seen a great deal --
