RiverFest 2004  Have you ever seen a beribboned tree, All shades of light and colored be? Methinks you have, but if never before? Well here is one for your adore…  And in the stream of the walking many I saw my friends from here, and then He Gave me a gift of a friend I know, For I found serenity and the flowers she grows…  Then round me buzzed a dragonfly And I asked him which way the wind would hie, He buzzed and buzzed in circles round As he headed for the fairer grounds… ~*~ So while the River Festival kicked into gear Still the reverie of this long week stayed near, Though even nature put on her most colorful clothes And vied for my heart, as well as my nose…  Hot weather was also very apropos, Summer is here, so everyone goes To hear the music, and capture the scenes Of live, and living, and to dance upon green…  |
