I don’t know how it happened.
It certainly was not planned.
It was as if magnetic
hand that found my hand.

The shape of it felt different
than hands I’d held before.
The fingers shorter, wider palmed,
and yet the touch adored.

And touch brought certain knowing
we had done this once before.
In times long past, our hands had clasped.
This time seemed only natural.

Strange how that happens eh, Jo?
At times it's as though you have known that person all your life..
and yet you have just met and it all feels so natural.
Loved this piece...think I can keep it?

I know this, but didn't think to write about it.  I'm glad you did.  A special experience, hands!
