Why Do I Still Write... ...these poems you may never see? Because in the deepest part of my soul you are always wih me; your tenderness is tucked around the corners of my heart, your gentleness wakes me each day with a smile and the softness in your eyes still warms me, remembering. Wear it lightly, this love I still bear you. Wrap it close around you on days when your heart feels a draft, on nights when silence is not a friend. When you need it most, wear it lightly and smile, smile for me. |
