That is how it is in our garden except they are wild ones, serpentine definitely , and mostly royal blue; they grow like crazy.  Enjoyed the write.  Also wanted to point out the following website for a different type of morning glory, a very unusual one, indeed.   http://www.dropbears.com/brough/

Yes, lovely...the true morning glory is just this, as you say.


Now, the bindweed, that we have, is a knock- off, imitator, that chokes as a boa constrictor in its serpentine cling.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
