A Colorless Watch

Not sure if I will make it through
the finality of it all.
The pressure increases its volume
as the fairy tale begins to wind down.

Mind chaos, swirling its calendar
into a "which day is this" feeling.
Limited affection to be exchanged
as touch becomes crucial
and only the eyes can speak
of what little light is left.

And the dreading of
what is black and white
fills the air.
