I looked out my window,
On hearing children play.
Their laughter warmed my heart,
And put sunlight in my day.

Their bright and happy faces,
Put a smile on my own.
My spirit rose to join them,
And I felt less alone.

They blew the biggest bubbles,
That I had ever seen!
They sailed passed my window,
Some popping on the screen.

The children saw me sitting there,
And waved their hands at me.
I blessed their smiling faces,
As they romped about in glee.

I looked out my window,
