It’s no use sleeping in former houses, still I dream in confluent horizons of family glue; when days were whipped gently and an ocean sang our lullabies; before we withdrew, split and spilt, three cracked stones strung across strands.
All the clouds in the world whirl above us now, swirl with secrets that brushed young faces but eschew our aging ones. The sun is sharper. A harsh reflection spins skins spotted.

"All the clouds in the world whirl above us now, swirl with secrets that once brushed young faces but hover above our aging ones, where the sun shines with something darker, sharper, glints a harsh reflection and spins skin spotted."
Wonderful wonderful write Corinne... Full of such beautiful vivid imagery. Very much enjoyed the read. Hugs~~Somewhere in my heart I'm always Dancing with you in the summer rain~

Remembering.... here I go a wandering back to unravel secrets of my own....Corinne, this poem was haunting. Very stirring and lovely (though sad) penning.

Cinematic in scope. The pictures painted with your command of our language are beyond my own words. You are truly a gifted talent. I really enjoyed this poem. Thank you very much for allowing me to read it.
