What damming cause Opens the mouth equating darkness Shifting everything from what was owned Thieves Streaking mirrors Raping slivers of golden threads Splattering fog everywhere I tremble in emptiness for those who Gulped that flaming energy whole Who are now outside our world Banging on our doors trying to get in But we lock any classroom, any college…afraid of Forensics Busy Season Into our consciousness, where memory remains We’ve forgotten the city of dying, the tears, the pain Where now ancient blood has become routine They’re still knocking to get in, on morning wind Where now and then Hidden things bring them through They are afraid we might not remember they lived Or to face why they died For what reason or damming cause Opens up the mouth of equating darkness I am afraid, they will forget us |

"They are afraid we might not remember they lived Or to face why they died For what reason or damming cause Opens up the mouth of equating darkness I am afraid, they will forget us" Haunting. This I have to ponder.....from my library. .......jo [This message has been edited by iliana (06-08-2004 05:23 PM).] |
