My fantasy place
A barefoot walk through golden cherub groves to face
Musical the notes that sing my way
And sun perspires on my skin in meadow musk
Come hither play
The lilt and wilt on willow arms, shoes off
Past green and spindle scene
The shady oak, companion at my back
A place to rest a hearty pack
Moist on lips, the cool of pool that beckons me
As afternoon plays tart with sunset
A linen poets shirt unstrung and wet
My fingers in the water spurn
Unearthened bind, the gentle breeze to ease my mind
And stepping in the spray
Transparent cools the day away
On green grass bed
So spacious in comparison to those that rest my head
Drip dry against a crimson sky
A dream to speak
Perchance against the starlights peek
That you might follow petals left upon the path
And wake me in the strobe of thrill
Ask me anything and this I will
Stand close beside you in the moonlight
Love to spill
