Love Poem to a Sacred Friend How would I love thee, To steal from Ms. Browning, Is a story I’ve told myself Whene’er my spirits are drowning. I’d love your touch of hand in mine And grin that gives you wrinkle. I’d love the warmth you wear so well And I’d love your eyes that crinkle I’d love you when you crabbed of life, When your office job got dull. I’d love you when your stars aligned and life’s so very full. I’d love you when you were yourself Your mind and spirit soaring I’d love you every minute, dear For you are never boring I’d love your sense of humor When we toil side by side. And I’d love the end of day When your arms would open wide [This message has been edited by kayjay (06-04-2004 09:12 PM).] |

What an endearing, charming poem! To give unconditionally...is the best kind of love, and makes for good poetry. I think Ms. Browning is smiling...eye-crinkles and all! |

Ah, to be thy sacred friend!! You know Ken, all the women of PiP are going to be swooning over this one. How beautiful is this!! How fortunate your sacred friend. ~Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~ ~Somewhere in my heart I'm always Dancing with you in the summer rain~ |
