It is dark, now, but I don’t mind
Feeling my way into and beyond
Sound motifs are beautiful to perceive
I’ve known rivers of poise
But none presently as such
Dreams sometimes hang to dry
Within a golden hued sunset
Screaming banzai

Fitting so good, so damn clear
The label on my dress reads Care
Whistle over me, time I have seized
Intention, my hunger appeases
Gravitating novel sacrifice
Maybe, I am that new mirror image

Oh, if only they’d believe their real enemy
Speak child, fruit of flowers, plant seeds
Loss of beauty sleeps in dark towers
Small wonder my youngster gathers swords
Against a still born will which is human

Partly bad, partly good
Trading consciousness for inner challenge
Was that intended?Where is my script?
Where is dessert, no heavy cream to whip?

Sensing failure & limitations
Yet, owning revenue & dying a millionaire
Opens up and I chase the world
Gathering infinite tiny crumbs
Cinnamic acid yields lemon balm

I’m not afraid of poverty,
Winter’s coals, afford me heat
I’ll strive always to survive til morning
But, loss of sight could be more costly
It isn’t about what treasure I pluck from the sea
But, what treasure I can furnish & leave

It is dark, now, but I don’t mind
Feeling my way into and beyond

Lee, you strike me as someone who would be able to always find your way through the dark and into the Light!

You bring me to a place of wondering...
A good place, though.
I like this.

Lee J:
You are so enlightened and philosophical.  Enjoyed this one.

I almost find me within your words. *S* And even if I don't... I always find an excellent read! *S*
