You muffle words past tear-stained hands, I'm listening... I understand. Just breathe in deep and count to ten; I'll hold you while you cry again. I'm sorry that you hurt so much That everyone seems out of touch. 'Cause I would take it if I could, And if you'd let me, then I would. Your eyes seem much more empty, now... with furls that rest on sorrowed brow. I know you weep throughout the night and sunshine doesn't bring you light. It's okay if you lean on me; I'll be the best friend I can be. Just breathe in deep and count to ten; I'll hold you while you cry again. Linda, he came to me when I was at my lowest, so my being there for him isn't even a questions... it's just how it works. He's like a brother to me, and thats what you do with family, you just love them ...thanks so much for your reply!Hope, Thank you There isn't anything better than a true friend... I have that's what I am to him.PS. As for giving the poem to him, I don't know. I think it would just make him worry that I'm focusing on it too much. Martie and JL, maybe... I've given him things before and he always gets worried that I spend too much time worrying about him. So then he goes on this thing where he tries to cut down the load of my burdens by not telling me about his problems, which of course drives us both insane. Yeah... we both worry, I wouldn't say too much though, 'cause that's just what you do for friends. You guys are starting to convince me, though. Stop that!
