The Essence of Spring shades of green flood the scene verdantly stream my panoramic view even Crayola with its set of sixty-four cannot score the forest floor’s lovely hue the canopy filled with trees skirted in tints too numerous to count dress the mount on every side where fauna hide and flora bide in shadows and light of sweet delight both day and night curling up in slumber or bursting with color in the rising of day ©June 2, 2004 Inspired by a drive through Snoqualmie Pass Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

I live in Washington... never been to snoqualmie pass, but I know that most everything in this area is just amazingly beautiful and from this writing I can see that's a place I should visit. Awesome... Always, Alyssa Poems are made by fools like me, But only God can make a tree. Joyce kilmer |
