Lord oh my Lord never let me go times as these when I tend to stretch the limits hold me tighter than ever patiently You wait while the tendrils untangle the briars scatter from my scuffing steps traversing a trail that undeniably is of my own choosing I hobble bruised and weary but when giving up is just up ahead You lift my eyes so that I cannot see it You lighten my heart even though too often I have chosen the hard way |

patiently You wait while the tendrils untangle the briars scatter from my scuffing steps traversing a trail that undeniably is of my own choosing ~*~ Perhaps, it's age; I notice, more and more, the need to let go to let God. More and more. Perhaps my shoulders are weary... but... never too much to not say, let me take your burden for awhile, so you can let go... and I'll let God take it from there...  |

I hobble bruised and weary but when giving up is just up ahead You lift my eyes so that I cannot see it Oh, lady... I charge ever deeper into the briars, whimpering as they rend my flesh... forgetting to read your wisdom... For however hard your way, you write the right... the path of faith. Excellent!!! |
