It doesn't matter the
distance.

We are sightless even as we
fall beneath the others
gaze.

There is nothing left to
search for...

When eyes no longer matter.

Pure magic that goes well beyond the weakness of simple human sight... you see through the eyes of your own divinity, and what bliss is revealed through your gifted words!

Beautiful.

I love you,

Moca

To define that point of contact where the pulse and impulse meet is truly a gift to behold Eric.
Extraordinary.

I see this poem in the context of keeping a large military force in Iraq, Afghanistan ( and soon? )which shouldn't be there, but alas military machines must be exercised to stay efficient and we are blinded by thinking that conflicts will remain far away as long as deployment abroad continues...good approach using simple text

I enjoyed both Enchantress' reply - as well as Wordwizard's!  Both were worthy of the poem.

You weave beauty into each line. Simple and poignant.
