Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2004-06-01 03:04 AM

Shall I meet thee, my love?
Tis love, or not love,
Love that hides behind thy hearts mask?,

A dance we share, of words we play,
through poetrys pages of rhyme,
Is it love? or poetry you say?

I shall meet thee, my love,
Underneath the pale moonlight,
Beneath the stars so bright,

For our love, dances to and fro,
With words upon every line, every note,
Loves' dance, romance, of thy hearts, thy souls,

For even though I see thee heart,
Thy face I cannot see,
As we dance to and fro,
I feel thine eyes stareing back at me,

I look deep within the mask,
Loves' hidden face hides from thee,
Oh, but love, true love flows from your poetry,

You kiss thy hand ever so sweetly,
With lips so soft as the petals of a rose,
will you love me completely?

Is this my love, a game? a sharade?
For loves' games I do not play,
my heart, for love does parade,

If it be so,
tis' true love found,
Love that hath made thy heart come unwound,

Take off thy mask,
As our hearts promenade,
Through the dance of loves' masquerade.

Then shall I dance with thee forever,
underneath the moonlit shade,
grasping your hands, kissing thy lips,

Never will my love fade , never.....

This is such a fine and noble poem...of a heart that is as precious to me as my own...thank you...
