To build memorials for those who can't speak why patch a roof that continually leaks? A roofer climbs to the top of his shanty house directed to fix a hole by his paunchy spouse "Planes used to fly overhead, he said I prefer to play my fiddle instead." Old wars would pass onto next generations countries would align into new federations, little thought was given to any reflection nearest neighbor sought only his protection.. Before memorials would be unveiled and the fallen soldier hailed the roofer passed the job onto his son, "let the next generation get the work done!" Better late than never, I've heard before purchase your goods while they're in store; and build war memorials in a certain style but the roofer just kept the job on file. Thanks fdor sharing, this type of poem goes hand in hand with the thought I have about wrting on how so many American families haven't been compensated for their losses at 9/11... |
