Life seems a balance of want and what is A longing to find right and wrong Life too much changing to figure what’s right Positioned where others belong So often the patience does ride in the red But still the relief valve won’t blow Is it worth all the stress and frustration inside? I wonder, but still I don’t know Dieing inside is the goodness of man Who’s finding it hard to exist But onwards do carry the load of a life As days and their quandaries persist Too often the wanting of life long reprieve But nothing will change without act Too often consumed by just how life could be Too gutless to watch it react Caught in a turbine that’s spinning so fast As year after year passes by Dieing each moment the dream that I dream As wants for a change slowly die But right it is right as wrong could be bliss A lifetime is short when complete But long now the hours that pass everyday Tomorrow, might better I meet? |
