Lost

I ghost my wings as hard I could
And lost the sight of common good
Flew so high within the sky
I could not hear the common cry

I lost myself within refrain
On highways of a higher plain
And drifted into mystery
A dominion of sophistry

I missed my train by my abide
The masses and the classes ride
Shunned the common grain of field the
Agony and ecstasies yield

Placed the hood of passive dark
Stasis of the cry of hark
Found the Braille of silent night
Lost the sight of sun and light

And I was humbled back to dawn
To the common where I was born

Good morning, Sir T!

You shall never be just a common man to me!

"Found the Braille of silent night"

~ That line is sheer brilliance!

Sip the nectar of the gods, for ye be one in the eyes of your fellow PiPsters!

God loves you, and so do we!

Now, that's lost.
Been feeling a bit that way myself, lately.
Wonder if its the weather?

Let's pour some tea, and contemplate...

Sy,

as always utterly amazing...your rhyming
scheme was remarkable, but then again
it always is! this was truly brilliant
writing.
Take care my friend.

He wandered through the morning mist
to find that which he did insist
would come to him as a graille
with wisdom writ in golden braille

For all the night shall come to day
and day shall cast each ghost astray
And then this host shall once more lead
upon a saddled and bridled steed.

Well said sir Sy....thanx
