One could say we all began As Angels fresh from Heaven’s gate Our souls still awash with God’s pure love Not yet blemished by the touch of hate Is it ones destiny, I ask? When flesh and blood upon this earth To leave behind this sweet innocence That embodied us at birth? Are we meant to falter? To fall from truth’s sure path And wander about aimlessly In Evil’s aftermath? Are we destined to become Fallen Angels? I believe this to be untrue For even Fallen Angels can be found And gifted forgiveness’ sweet reprieve From the sins in which they abound Whether it be through Christ’s pure love Or through Buddha’s guiding light Be it of the will of Allah Or in the Creator’s hand of might We need only believe in Good And live our lives as such Let go of the failings of the flesh And rise above its touch Claim your right to divinity Spread sweet love around And Fallen Angels shall be lifted up To soar among the clouds Do not believe in Fate – Make your own. S.A.T. The whole of the Universe resides within each individual heart. |
