*~*
When heart break comes into our life
And with it all the pain it brings
Causes us agony, pain, strife
When heart break comes into our life
Feeling as if heart's cut with knife
Questions in mind constantly rings
When heart break comes into our life
And with it all the pain it brings

So true. So true and it does take ages to heal and add a few more.

May your heart break only as a wave breaks, preserving itself though it is pressed in a new direction, to break again perhaps on some far shore it wouldn't have reached at all if it hadn't been broken here first.

Sorrow abounds this day.  I love the ocean wave analogy in the above reply.  Let's believe in its truth.

Wish I could tell you I enjoyed this....I did as poetry, but there's too much hurt in it, to someone I like too much, for that word to be used.

Hi Ethel ... there's nothing worse than a heartbreak! And I'm sure we've all had our share. Great write!

James had the most interesting response,
one that compliments the poem very well.
