White crosses above graves,
Holocost children tortured,
killed, some were slaves,

Brutal leader, evil,
murderer, killing, manipulating,
deceiving, the devil,

Your life, a sacrifice,
for freedom, for justice,
so many paid the price,

As I sit here today,
I look at the skies of blue,
I will remember you...

No life left unknown,
no hero left unsung,
I appreciate what you have done,

You lay there silent,
but your honor speaks volumes,
from the graves, I hear, I see,
freedom, liberty,

Your life meant for something,
may I ever be worth,
what you died for, not a nothing,

1968, the year I was born,
the countries, war torn,
Vietnam and uncle sam,

Yes, I know all about you,
thousands cry from their earthly graves,
I for one, will remember you,
all that you went through,

You were someones son,
you were someones father,
freedom was won,
freedom I will remember,

Thank you, thank you,
for allowing me to live underneath,
the red, white and blue,

I promise never to forget,
for I will remember You!
