Rainy Days

My heart’s pounding reveals me
How else could I explain it, or, it ever be?
As a rain shower’s origin maybe, you see,
I am for you and always will be:

As heat rises pulling dampened life
and darkening clouds cumulate moisten rife
In tears of passion or in tears of strife
Joined into the air aloft where angels fife…

In that extent of living we became as one.
A life meant to be and never to be undone
Living to a fulfillment for two hearts begun
Harmony palpating in rhythmic unison…

Those rainy days I have woven, and spun
as a shy and cloudy day…
as a day done and night bringing silence,
save the far off rumbling of thunder,
where a sprinkling of dreams had begun…

There, my heart is showering, in that calm.
Drawn up by heat of day, and resting quietly
on cool layers of air waiting to share again
what I had found, so high above the ground.

Awaiting the sprits of lightning to color the darkened sky,
twisting its patterns of threaded silver of you and I.
Pleading after the storms end to be a crystalloid rainbow.
That life for two, many colors of one in rhythmic unison…

Rainy days, just one of your many songs…

Not difficult to enjoy
a good storm
with word play such as this...

thank you, Sir.
